Local Planning Strategy 2013Voting for the 2013 Broome Council Elections is open until 4pm on Friday, 18th October and 6pm on Saturday, 19th October at the Broome Shire Offices on the Cnr Weld and Haas Street.

With so much at stake, including great swathes of land up for rezoning and mining, it is imperative that Broome residents have their say with regards to whom they trust to see us responsibly go forward into the future.

As can be seen in the Draft Local Planning Strategy Map – the green area allows for “development associated with the extraction of natural resources” and covers the whole of the Shire.
