Broome Sports Directory
(BRAC) – Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre is a multi purpose facility that caters for a range of recreational and sporting services and activities. Located on Cable Beach Rd East, the centre has a 25m, 8 lane outdoor pool, protected by shade sails during the wet season and heated during the dry season. It also features a lagoon pool, spa, stadium, squash courts and outdoor tennis and netball/basketball courts. Activities include aqua classes, learn to swim, lap swimming and water polo. Broome Netball Subjunior rego & round robin comp on sat 24th March, 2pm – 7pm. Seniors (&juniors 13-17yrs) Rego & round robin comp on Tuesday 17th & 24th April.
You’ve missed out on all the gyms, to lift some weights or for some kick arse casual boxercise classes (mon/wed/fri nights) the Broome PCYC (Police and Community Youth Centre) is a short walk from Town Beach 🙂

Traditional MUAY THAI (thai boxing) classes are being held at Broome lotteries house from Monday to Thursday from 5:45pm to 7pm. We focus on the technique and exercises to keep you fit and learn to defend yourself whilst learning the art of muay thai. We have an awesome bunch of people training with us, male and female (beginners welcome). We are looking to some early morning lessons too. Also have one on one lessons for people who want to improve faster.

Does anybody know of any boxing trainers in Broome? I know the gyms all do boxing classes but I am looking for boxing trainers who actually teach boxing rather than just hold classes for fitness. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
